Hi family & friends

This is just too good not to share. I thought I would let you know about the R29 meal special http://www.southernrighthotel.com/ which is on Monday to Friday at Flukes Restaurant in Glencairn http://www.southernrighthotel.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=96&Itemid=159 - I pasted the advert at the end of this e-mail - as well as the draughts special for the beer drinkers. The meal special is only on until the 19^th of Feb. We went there for breakfast last Sunday (31^st) with my brother Theo and his wife Ena and we really enjoyed the whole experience.  The English breakfast was a very good deal at R39 which included toast, jam and bottomless coffee. The service was good and so was the view – overlooking the sea, watching all the different boats go by. We even watched Rob Federer’s nail biting win of the Australian Open on TV.  We sat on the outside deck which “can be closed with roll-down plastic shutters with windows, ensuring comfortable dining in any weather, while keeping the view. There are even heaters for comfort during winter.” It is part of the Southern Right Hotel so you can even sleep over there if you want to with a Valentine’s special of R400 B&B.  We also watched a musician set up his guitar, etc, but then he sat down to have lunch first and we left before he started playing so we have no idea what kind of music he was going to play. There is such a lekker atmosphere there with a bar (the Blowhole Bar) where you can play pool and a safe play area for little children inside the courtyard.
